Donations for Mrs. Sarah

Mrs. Sarah is my mother-in -love, but she is also my best friend. If anyone knows her including her 4 children and other children she's taken in as her own throughout the years, they would all say the same thing. She is a God-fearing woman who loves Jesus and loves people! She has spent her life teaching in the educational system and has worked with children with special needs also. She is the most generous person you'd ever meet. She will give the shirt off her back and her door is open to all in need. It's always been like that. It's part of who she is.

Yet, about three years ago she was diagnosed with multiple myeloma. The doctors say there is no cure but it's treatable. Momma, or Mrs. Sarah, has so much faith in God that this could never bring her spirits down. Unfortunately she has to receive treatment and take medicine to keep this at bay. She's had to undergo bone marrow scans, blood work, and doctors visits about three times a week.

She has faced opposition with co-pays that she sometimes wonders if she can afford. She currently is retired but has gone back to work as a substitute teacher to make sure that she can keep up with cost of prescriptions and doctor visits.

Momma also is currently living in an apartment complex that is adding terrible mold exposure symptoms to her already immune compromised body. She struggles with severe allergies and fatigue from the mold in her apartment.

As we all know, rent in Florida is at an all time high right now. In order to move anywhere one needs first, last, and security and that costs around $4,000 that she doesn't have.

Being a retired senior citizen, with a new diagnosis of cancer, that still needs to work in order to make ends meet is unfair. Adding black mold exposure to top it off is causing her to become even more ill.

Our family is asking first, not for pity or feelings of worry, because momma, Mrs. Sarah, has an immense faith in God that is certain of his healing powers. But we are asking for prayers and for a kind donation of any amount to help her get into a newer built apartment or home that doesn't have black mold. She will also need expenses for cleaning her clothes and furniture to rid it all of the contamination. This is detrimental to her health. We are also asking for donations towards her doctor visits and prescriptions. Any amount is surely appreciated and will be used wisely and stewarded faithfully. If you can't donate, please share and please pray for momma, Mrs. Sarah. Thank you so much for all the support. She truly needs it right now, as she has always been such a strong support system for so many others.
