Hello Everyone,

This GoFundMe is being created by request of Mr. and Mrs. Hughen. The Hughen's teach young musicians in the Alamogordo area at their home studio, Classi Fiddles Music Studio. The Hughen's have dedicated their lives to the musical education of Alamogordo children, including their beautiful daughter Melody and their grandchildren. Last week, Melody, their only child, passed away unexpectedly at home. Melody had just been released from a medical facility in Las Cruces, NM after an almost two-month hospitalization in El Paso, TX. For the past couple of years, Melody's health has been a focus for her parents, husband, and children. With this unexpected and unimaginable loss, also comes the unexpected cost of giving Melody proper burial services. The Hughen's are asking for monetary donations to be used towards Melody's funeral arrangements and headstone expenses.

The family would also like to express their gratitude for those who have provided meals and gift cards, ensuring that their family has remained fed during this past week.

Melody's memorial services are scheduled for May 10, 2025, at 1:30 pm at the Sacramento Mountains Senior Services Center at 56 Cottage Row in High Rolls, NM.

All donations will be immediately deposited to the Hughen's. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated! We also ask for continued prayers from Melody's parents, spouse, and children during this difficult time. Thank you.
