Donations for hospital bills & ongoing Rehab.

Hello, my name is James L Gaines Jr, and I’m reaching out to my family and friends for support on behalf of my wife, Ute Gaines.

Ute had a stroke on July 20th and was in Intensive Care for almost two weeks. I slept by her bedside every night until she was transferred to another medical floor.

The stroke has affected Ute’s left side of her body and speech, and she cannot swallow food. Now she has a feeding tube in her stomach until she can eat again. Ute is being discharged soon to our home.

I’m creating a GoFundMe account to help with her medical expenses because our healthcare insurance is minimal and doesn’t cover most of her hospitalization. After being discharged from the hospital, Ute will need in-home rehabilitation, medical supplies, and other home healthcare necessities. I’m retired, but I do have a part-time job. However, once Ute comes home, I’ll have to stop working to take care of my wife full-time at home. Any help you can provide to assist with our ongoing medical expenses is greatly appreciated.
