I’m starting this fundraiser to support my friends in Gaza, who have lost everything in the ongoing war. Every day, they struggle to survive without access to basic needs like food, clean water, and medical care.
All donations go directly to them and are used solely for private purposes such as food, medicine, and shelter. No organizations are involved, and nothing will be kept by me or anyone else. Every contribution - no matter how small - helps them hold on to hope and meet their most urgent needs in the midst of this humanitarian crisis.
Below, they share their story in their own words:
I am Mahmoud Saleh, a 30-year-old Palestinian from Gaza. Before the war, I had a wonderful life and my own job. I worked as an employee in an electronics store, and like any young man, I dreamed of starting a family. I used to work at least 10 hours a day and had started building my house and preparing to propose to the girl I loved. I did propose to her, but two months later, the war began, and we started our journey of displacement from northern Gaza to its southern areas. My home and everything I had built over the past years were destroyed. Despite that, I continued working in several fields during the war. I got married on May 25, 2025, in the middle of the war in the Gaza Strip, and we started our life in a family home. However, I couldn’t find stability during that period. Later, a new military operation began in the area where I was staying, and I was forced to leave the house after we were besieged, without being able to take any of my belongings. I became homeless, without even the basic necessities of life. Now my wife is pregnant, and we are living in a place that is completely unsuitable for her — without a tent or clothes, and everyone knows that winter is coming, so we at least need blankets and winter clothes. Everyone is aware of the current situation in Gaza — extremely high prices, very high unemployment rates, and I currently have no work due to the lack of capital to start any project. Even after the war ended and the truce was implemented, life and conditions in Gaza remain very difficult, with access to food and water sometimes almost impossible. The effects of the war have left us facing the daunting task of rebuilding our home from scratch after it burned down. But there is a glimmer of hope amidst this darkness. With your support and generous donations, we can rebuild our lives after our home burned down. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a huge difference.
Your help means so much as we strive to rebuild and think of better days ahead. Every donation, big or small, helps us begin to mend our shattered dreams. I sincerely and wholeheartedly ask all charitable people to help me share my story and my message with the world. Thank you for your support and understanding during this ordeal. Your contribution means a new life for me and my family, and it means compassion and solidarity for justice and the preservation of human life. Thank you.
