The Sacramento Parrot Rescue is raising funds for a member of our bird community. She is disabled and in a wheel chair and recently fell while holding her beloved Macaw companion, Baby. Baby's leg was severely broken and needs surgery to place pins in the leg. She lives alone and this Macaw is a great comfort to her, sitting on her chair with her. The Rescue is going to pay for the surgery, but would greatly appreciate any donations from our community to help.
