Hi everyone,

I never thought I’d have to make one of these, but today I’m reaching out with a heavy heart. Our sweet girl, Lucia, has recently declined and requires intensive care.

Lucia has brought so much joy, comfort, and love every single day. Seeing her in pain has been heartbreaking, and we’re doing everything we can to get her back to health. She is a guardian cat to my daughter Athena, always watching her from a distance.

Lucia's symptoms started as what the vet thought was a reaction to her vaccines, but after further evaluation, it is clear it is more neurological. Lucia is currently staying at Rockingham Emergency Vet and will need to be transported to a neurologist to receive the full care she needs.
