It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Kevin Vallas, of East Northport. He was 53. A beloved father, husband, brother, and son, Kevin is survived by his wife, Suzanne, and his four children, Lucas, Mikaela, Logan, and Mackenzie.
The loss of Kevin has brought sorrow to many. His presence will be sorely missed, especially in the Northport-East Northport community that he called home for nearly three decades, as well as by the business associates and clients made throughout his career in carpentry.
Born in 1968, Kevin was raised in Freeport, New York. After marrying, he moved to East Northport, and became an active and visible member of the East Northport community.
Kevin’s family has been a beacon in Northport-East Northport. They have never failed to lend a hand or support a cause. Through volunteerism, giving, coaching, instruction, mentorship, and friendship, the Vallas Family has helped brighten our community with positivity and support in countless times of need. Kevin’s legacy will continue to be felt in our community, through the combined contributions of his outstanding children, who carry on his legacy as kind, supportive, and outgoing.
This GoFundMe is being launched by the friends and loved ones of Kevin and the Vallas Family, to help support them through this difficult moment in life. We encourage anyone with the means and ability to contribute, to please do so.
For those seeking to pay their respects to Kevin, services will be held at Commack Abbey, on Monday, Jan. 3, 2022, from 5-9 p.m.
On behalf of the Vallas Family, we thank all those who have offered their condolences, sympathies, thoughts, prayers, and support.
