Kayley Kersh is 18 years old the daughter of Earl Kersh and Hazel Kersh. Kayley is a senior in High School.
On Friday, December 20th she was rushed to the hospital after complaining of an intense headache and little to no vision. After scans were performed, the Doctor’s discovered that there was a bleed on her brain. The Doctor’s said there may be a procedure that could stop the bleeding without having to do brain surgery. The procedure began the night after she was admitted.
During the procedure, the Doctor’s found that she had two additional aneurysm’s in her brain stem near her spinal cord. They could not perform the surgery needed to repair these issues at their hospital and said she would need to be transferred to a hospital that was better equipped.
Kayley does not have insurance so it would be difficult to find a Neurosurgeon who would accept Kayley’s complicated case. After much prayer, the Neurosurgeon was found, and they requested a transfer for surgery as soon as possible. Kayley is staying in Critical Care Units and her parents are staying with her. There will be a long road ahead for Kayley with surgery and recovery.
This fundraiser has been started with her parent’s permission and will go directly to them. It will help with aiding her medical bills, and provide food for her family while they are living at the hospital. Please donate what you can, she needs a Christmas miracle! Thank you for the flood of prayers on Kayley’s behalf and please keep them coming!❤️
