On Saturday, January 13, 2024, Jose Hernandez became the victim of a hit and run accident while crossing Lakewood Blvd.

The accident has left him in serious condition and unfortunately he currently remains unconscious. In the best case scenario, doctors are anticipating Jose will need at least a year of physical therapy in addition to many surgical procedures.

Jose is a selfless person who has never hesitated to help people and animals in need. He never passes a homeless person without giving them food or money. He is a loving person who enjoys quality time with family and friends.
