In a truly shocking and saddening turn of events, Jeff's wife, Meredith, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 25th. Gone too soon at the young age of 40, she leaves behind her husband, 4 children, and a new grandson.
While nothing can ever truly diminish the sorrow that Jeff, his children, and their family are experiencing right now, one thing we can do to help is ease some of the financial burden that comes from such a sudden loss. Aside from the funeral expenses that Jeff is undoubtedly unprepared for, there is now the added pressure of being thrust into the role of a single parent. In lieu of flowers or cards, I'm asking for donations in any amount you're comfortable with that can provide some financial assistance for the support of Jeff and his family in their time of need.
Whether you know Jeff well or not, whether you work directly with him or not, he is big a part of our family here at Schwan's. He's a tremendous co-worker, a good friend, a loving father, and a genuinely good person. It would be truly wonderful to see a generous show of support for Jeff and his family.
