At this time, we are planning his funeral services and still asking for help to lay baby Jaziel to rest!

We were informed by Jaziel’s doctor that the extent of his heart failure, there is now nothing further that they’re able to do for him medically.

It’s with a heavy heart, we decided after the holidays to admit Jaziel into hospice and slowly starting removing the machines that have been helping him survive.

We are asking for donations to help lay our beloved heart warrior, Jaziel to rest!

Hi my name is Jaziel, as many of you might know, and for the ones who don’t, I was born on February 23 2022 with Heterotaxy syndrome. I am also asplenic and I was born with my stomach on the opposite side. At only 4 days old I had to get heart surgery which was getting a band placed in my right ventricle. On March 23 2023 I got my gtube placed. In July 24 2023 I had another open heart surgery to repair my heart, everything was going good until September 30th, my cardiologist noticed a leakage in one of my valves which was not that concerning at first, but on Oct 20 I then started feeling fatigued and was in a lot of pain and vomiting! My parents took me to Phoenix Children's Hospital emergency to get evaluated. The doctors at the ER said everything looked good, until the charge nurse walked in and seen I was having a difficult time breathing so they decided to admit me. Doctors started doing different test on me and everything kept coming back negative. One doctor decided to do further labs and in couple of days they came and told my mom that I had mano virus and at this point my oxygen stats were dropping to below 60. Each day I was getting worst. They did another echo and now the results came back that Im having heart failure and liver failure. My little fragile body was in so much destress that they decided to put me in a medical induced coma and I am on a ventilator. They told my parents it could be for a couple of days, or even MONTHS. My parents and I would really appreciate it if you can donate, or even share this to help raise money for bills while my parents are here by my side everyday, and to help with the medical bills that are piling up each day!
