Hi, my name is Peter and I am fundraising for a family friend (Medi) who sadly had a stroke whilst his wife is heavily pregnant in Uganda.

Some may not know there’s no such thing as free health care in Uganda, and medical support is only available if it’s paid for.

As the sole provider for his family, responsible for paying: rent, medical bills and general living expenses, his medical issues have left him and his pregnant wife with no income whatsoever.

Medi is one of the kindest, happiest people I’ve ever met. Though he’s never had a lot, he’s always been grateful. His whole family would be so grateful for any support you can provide.

All the funds will go towards keeping a roof over his families head, including his new born, as well as medicine he needs to support his recovery.
