UPDATE First I would like to say our family is grateful for all the people whom have given money and shared the account with people. With your help we have been able to assist with medications, living expenses, rent, and doctors. David went to the cardiologist and received information about his condition. The doctor told him his heart is to weak at this time to do any repairs. He will continue with medications and wearing the life vest for 3 months. He is resting alot and not doing to much physically because he can't. Please continue to pray for his healing. Again, Our are hearts are filled with your compassion and support. I am Edward Wasielewski, father to David Wasielewski, age 49, whom I am trying to help after a life-altering event.

On August 18th, David went to the emergency room due to having shortness of breath and pain in his chest. Within a few hours, he was admitted to the ICU because his heart was functioning at less than 10%. He was diagnosed with having a silent heart attack months ago, a blood clot on his heart, a complete blockage in one artery, and a heart rate of 148. The hospital did a cardiac catheter and injected medication to reduce his heart rate. He spent 5 days in the ICU and moved for another 5 days to the step-down unit for his heart.

He was working as an electrician and had no insurance at this time. Before discharge from the hospital, he needed Eliquis, which is a blood thinner and runs approximately $1500.00 for a month's supply. He cannot go without this medication because of the blood clot. He also had to be discharged with a life vest. This is a form of defibrillator to shock his heart should it go into arrest. Due to these conditions, David is unable to return to work at this time. He has to follow up with numerous doctors and have possible surgeries.

At this moment, David moved in with me so I can monitor and follow up with doctors. He doesn't have the money for these appointments or to pay his monthly bills of rent $1000.00/month, car $215.00/month, and living expenses of approximately $300.00. In 20 more days, he is in need of all his medications which total approximately $1700.00. I hope that the doctors are able to repair the damage and to get David back to himself; however, the need for this financial support is what will determine his outcome.
