Hello, my name is Daleht Miranda, & I am making this go fund me account on behalf of Glenda, her family, and all of her coworkers/friends.

I met Glenda at work about 2 years ago. Glenda had been a caregiver for many years in a Senior Living setting. She spent her days helping senior citizens with their daily tasks and making sure they received the care they needed. She was a very hard worker and was always willing to stay and help when needed.

Unfortunately, Glenda who is diabetic, developed an infection on her left foot that she was not aware about. On the morning of September 16th her partner found her unconscious next to their bed and she was rushed to the hospital via 911.

What came next was heart breaking. Glenda had to have her leg amputated, due to the severity of her infection. She spent days in a coma and doctors worried the infection spread too far, but Glenda fought and opened her eyes a few days later.

Glenda continued to fight and recover and was given a discharge date of 11/22/22. Sadly, things took a turn for the worst and Glenda suffered a stroke days before her discharge.

Glenda is now receiving life sustaining measures and doctors do not give family high hopes.

Life sustaining measures will be discontinued on Friday 12/2/22 and family is now preparing for the worst and praying for a miracle.

Being that Glenda was the main source of income for her family, they are now facing a lot of financial hardships. Donations collected will go to her family for all of her medical expenses as well as family’s immediate needs such as shelter and food.
