Donations for Funeral Service - Johnny Orozco

On Friday April 5th our family faced an unexpected loss of our beloved dad, Johnny Orozco. On March 22nd he was rushed to the hospital by ambulance due to a major heart attack that restricted blood flow to the left side of his heart. Nursing staff didn’t believe he was going to make it through the night, but he fought his way through. Knowing Johnny, you knew he wasn’t going down without a fight. He spent 2 whole weeks in the hospital, connected to an artificial heart, dialysis, breathing machine, and small mechanical pump inside his heart, all keeping him alive. Johnny also suffered two small strokes and was declared brain dead on Monday April 1st.

Our entire family was shocked because at this point his other organs were improving, vitals were strong and we were expecting different news that day.

Johnny left behind a son and a daughter who he loved and cared for very much. There is no one else like him, he was strong willed, determined, had a big heart, and always gave back to people, even if he had nothing. Johnny was a proud veteran who served 8 years in the United States Marines Corps. He worked diligently to give back to his fellow brothers and sisters, by cofounding a Patriot Support Program at behavioral health facility where he has been working for the last 10 years.

Before Johnny’s last breath he saved 7 lives. His final wish as a registered organ donor had been granted. Our family is comforted in knowing that our dad will be living on in someone else, and once again giving back to his community.

All proceeds will go to Johnny’s funeral services. Details regarding services will be announced at a later time. Our family would like to thank each and every one of you.
