Mom was the foundation of our family. She counciled us to be the best version of ourselves and to always love one another.. To be patient, kind, and forgiving.
She is known for her pureness in love, genuine personality, and loyalty.
Friday morning March 1st, she was rushed to St. Mary's hospital after indicating pain to our father. She expressed that she was hurting and became weak in the knees going down unconscious.
Mom was intubated and became reliant on a breathing device. She had not waken from a deep coma and showed no signs of brain function or reflexes. Her heart continued to pump.
Multiple neurologists/surgeons confirmed that she had a stroke of a hemorrhage in the brain stem. Without a hx of high blood pressure, this left us with an unknown cause of this prognosis. There was no reversing of what had happened, and as hard as it was to hear- there weren't any chance that she'd be coming back home with us.
My parents refuse life insurance because they've seen kids that wanted parents to die, so they're scared what money can do. They never got it. Hoping they'd understand if this were to happen, their children would struggle on having to deal with funds on burying and funeral services.
My mom would frown upon asking for donations, but as friends ask to put aside our pride -we ask you make a donation to help us reach our goal in covering any medical expenses, funeral costs and services. Thank you for your love & support.
