Want to make a difference in your community?
We are Grace Chen, Skylar Holland, Pranav Potrevu, and Shanmuka Sadhu, all freshmen students from Somerset County, New Jersey. Every day, many of us are fortunate enough to wake up safe and healthy, but this is not a reality for everyone. Front line workers from the medical community are continuing to serve us by risking their lives to help patients and protect us during this COVID-19 pandemic. Their commitment causes them to make unimaginable sacrifices, and we want to show our appreciation!
We're raising money to support front line workers at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset (RWJBH), and all donations will be given back to those who are sacrificing so much for us. Their dedication, commitment, and courage deserve our deepest gratitude and admiration. The money raised will be used to assist the needs of these hospital staff and create care packages.
On top of this, we ask all of you to consider creating and sending in virtual cards/letters/messages for front line workers. A positive message and words of appreciation can go a long way towards brightening someone's day.
