Hi, my name is Anaïs. Together with my mother, Ketty, and my father, Eric Kalt, I am raising money to help friends and families in Sri Lanka who have been affected by severe flooding caused by a cyclone. Many of the families we are supporting are close friends we have known for years, and we also rely on trusted local contacts to reach others in urgent need.
I have a strong personal connection to Sri Lanka and have spent significant time there, including attending school. This fundraiser is independently organized by me and my family.
How funds will be transferred:
All donations are collected through GoFundMe. As I am currently under 18, the funds are transferred to my father, Eric Kalt, whose bank account is used solely for this purpose. He supports me by securely transferring the funds to the intended recipients.
Funds will be distributed either:
- directly to affected families we know personally, or
- donated to trusted humanitarian organizations, such as the Red Cross, to support their disaster relief efforts.
I am not officially partnered with these organizations; they are recipients of donations.
All transfers will be documented and tracked to ensure transparency and that every donation reaches its intended destination.
How donations will be spent:
- Emergency food and clean water
- Medical supplies
- Temporary shelter
- Essential items for families who have lost everything
- Support for schools and educational resources for children affected by the disaster
We are committed to transparency and will provide regular updates, including proof of fund transfers, so donors can clearly see how their support is helping.
Even the smallest donation can bring hope to families who are suffering right now. Every contribution helps restore safety, dignity, and stability.
