It’s hard for me to accept that I need help from strangers, but that type of thinking is what got my dad into his situation. He was a prideful man who thought nothing bad could ever happen to him, and I was the same way. His pride let him think that he was just tired and had a headache, but my dad had a big stroke and we were told that he would be partially paralyzed on his right side. He had to have a craniectomy to relieve the swelling of his brain. We were also told that he wouldn’t be able to work any longer, so I, as the oldest of his children, will be taking responsibility for his and my mother’s care. He is a great husband, father, annd grandfather. He was always willing to help his family with anything he could. All I’m asking is to get some help with his medical bills since he didn’t have insurance. I’m not sure how much it’ll be, but any help is welcome. All funds will go to medical expenses. God bless.
