Life-saving brain surgery for Eva
Donation protected

very rare brain tumor (Cystic Craniopharyngioma). She will require
brain surgery next month to remove it. While she lives in Wyoming, a
disease of this nature requires the highest level of medical care which
she will obtain in Salt Lake City, Utah, about 100 miles away. The
surgery to remove this tumor, as you can imagine, is very complex
and, of course, very expensive as there will be lengthy hospital stays
including ICU care and possibly additional surgeries and/or radiation
therapy. Even with health insurance, the overall cost to her family will
be extremely high and will include not just the medical bills but also
time off from work, travel expenses, MRI bills, medications and
countless other unforeseeable expenses.
She is a bright shining light to everyone who knows her. Eva is
very intelligent and loves science experiments. In addition, she enjoys
listening to music, reading, puzzles, dancing, drawing and fossil
hunting with her parents. She even plays the violin (see the video)! In
this day and age of electronic entertainment, how many 5-year olds
sacrifice electronics for all of the above? We (“team Helm”) adore this
talented little girl and her warm family. We cannot wait to see her
happy and healthy back at home after these upcoming trying times
have passed. Eva’s family by nature are humanitarians. At the drop of
a hat, they will stop whatever they are doing to help someone in need.
Now it’s our turn. Let’s do the same for their amazing daughter. We
so hope that you will join us on this GoFundMe to help ease this
family’s financial obligations.
