Hello, my name Thomasa Jackson AKA BossLady T. On September 18th in the wee hours of Saturday morning, Erica Monquie Williams was tragically killed by gunfire in Shaw, Ms. The news article below has more details.

Press Release Shaw Shooting09-18-21On September 18, 2021, at approximately the Bolivar County Sheriff's Office received a call from Shaw PD that a vehicle had been shot up. When deputies arrived on the scene, they discovered an unoccupied black Impala at the intersection of E. Peeler and US 61 with multiple bullet holes. Later they received a call from Bolivar Medical Center reporting that two people came in with gunshot wounds. One of the victims died from gunshot wound sustained and the other victim was transferred to UMC Jackson, MS in critical condition. This incident is under investigation. If anyone have any information related to this crime, please contact the Bolivar County Sheriffs office.

Erica was a very sweet, outgoing, hard worker, and willing to help others at any time of need. She was very excited when she received that call that said she was hired as an associate at Walmart two weeks ago. She recently made the Facebook stat saying "I am well on my way." Unfortunately, Erica's life was tragically cut short two days prior to her 34th birthday which is on September 20th. Erica was taken away from her two young children ages 9 and 10. The father of the one of the children has succumb to gun violence in December of 2020, while the other father is unknown leaving both children without a mother and a father. Unfortunately, Erica was not able to afford insurance for herself having to raise both children alone. We, Tax Tyme, LLC and her family is asking for your help in raising money for a proper burial. The monies will be used to take care of all expenses associated with the cost of her services . Any donations is greatly appreciated.
