It is with heavy heart that I announce that on May 8, 2020 my beautiful and kind sister-in-law Doreen L. Evans lost her battle from liver and kidney failure. Doreen had been in the hospital from February 13- May 8 2020. My sister-in-law's untimely death has left a permanent void in my family's hearts. Unfortunately, only a week before Doreen was getting weaker, her husband Joseph was hospitalized with COVID-19 and treatment for pneumonia.
Doreen was a wife, daughter, mother, friend, colleague, and loving person to all who knew her. Her most prized role of all was being a mother to my sweet and heartbroken nephews, Alex, 21 and Max,13. Her children were her life and are never going to be the same. Her husband, Joe , was her best friend for almost 19 years and no matter what obstacles life threw at them, they always came out the other side together.
My brother, Joe and their boys need your help. They have been surviving without her income for months. Hospital bills will be pouring in imminently. Their boys have many more years of sports,events, and education in front of them. When I think about Doreen, Joe, and their boys I know how much they have given to others and now its my time to help them. I would like to raise enough money so Joe doesn't have to worry about the hospital bills, the mortgage, or future tuition costs on a single income... I'm asking for your help. Please help me send her husband, Joe and their beautiful boys something positive after everything they have been through. I assure you, your generosity will be greatly appreciated.
