Donations for Dommie
Donation protected
I’m Laura Wayne and I am a converted cat lover. I never thought I’d own a cat, until Domino and his friend Hope came into our lives two years ago. My family saw them as adoptable from the shelter, two senior cats that came in a pair, and we were hooked!
Dommie was recently diagnosed with stage 4 kidney disease. We are hoping that, with a treatment plan of special diet, meds, blood monitoring, and subcutaneous fluid injections, he will be able to be with us for as long as possible.
With that said, these treatments will quickly add up in cost. Just the initial vet visit alone cost $550. In order to keep him in comfortable good health, we’ve got a long and expensive road ahead.
I don’t ask for money. Ever. My family has always found a way to pull through. This time, however, we are left wondering how to make ends meet while still caring for our boy. His name is Domino, but his nicknames are plentiful. Domino. Dommie. Heem. Hemmie. Big Man. Fat Man. Birbs. Birb. Floof Boy. The list goes on and on. He is well loved and we want to be able to keep giving him that love.
I thank all of you for reading his story and am grateful for anything you can give. And if you’re not in a position to donate, I will take all the thoughts, prayers, good vibes, karma, ju-ju, whatever you’ve got. These are just as precious as a donation.
