Desiree Tomlinson had an authenticity about her that poured from her soul and through her eyes.

For example: If she welcomed you into her circle, you knew that you had a friend for life. And if she thought it was time for you to call it a night, you knew from just a look you were leaving the bar.

Dez loved her friends and family fiercely and faithfully, and she made an impact on every person she met. Dez would drop everything to be there for you when you needed her, often helping others whether or not she had the means to do so.

Above all else, she was an amazing mother. Her life revolved around her children, Lila and Trey, from baseball games, practices, hikes in the woods, and more. She didn't want to miss a single moment with them.

Now it's our turn to serve Dez by helping Lila and Trey. She would take comfort in knowing that this community, and all of us who loved her, are here to love them, support them, and keep her memory alive through them.

This Memorial Fund will cover final expenses and a celebration of life planned for 2 p.m. on March 23 at the American Legion in Lititz. Any money donated beyond that amount will go into a fund for Lila and Trey.
