Some days are good, some days are great, and some days we need help to get through them.
A couple weeks ago, Troy and Deedra Russell's oldest son Collin opened his mission call to the Canada Edmonton Mission Tagalog speaking - for their family that was a great day!
Saturday the Russell’s were at Allegiant stadium as a family and helped cheer the Cougars to victory - for them that was a good day.
Wednesday September 8th, around 4am, Deedra, wife and mother of 5, was involved in a horrible car accident as she was traveling to meet her son Kyler who was heading off to college. She was struck head on by an impaired driver in the Arizona Gorge and was life flighted to St. George Regional Hospital - these are days their family needs help getting through.
Since the accident, Deedra has undergone multiple surgeries and will undergo many more. She has a long painful road to recovery. Her team of doctors have been providing the best care possible. She is expected to remain in the hospital for the next 6-8 weeks, but doctors anticipate recovery from her long list of injuries may take anywhere from 1 to 2 years. She and her family will need daily living and household support for an unforeseeably long future.
The purpose of setting up this donation account is to help off set the medical expenses not covered by insurance. In addition renovations will need to be made to make their home wheelchair accessible and comfortable for Deedra.
100 percent of donations will go directly to the Russell family.
