Donations for Daisy’s Cancer Fight

Daisy is an almost 2 year old Great Pyrenees mix who the Wall family rescued in March of 2022. She is a loving protector and ultimate doggy sister to Mia (7 year old rescue dog), Hobie (14 year old cat), Freya (5 1/2 year old human sister) and Isla (2 1/2 year old human sister). On 9/20/23 Daisy was taken in to the vet to have an X-ray done of her chest as the family thought she could have a foreign body in her throat/neck. Unfortunately, their vet found extensive swelling and fluid accumulation in her neck and chest. After extensive testing (ultrasound/bloodwork/cytosis/X-rays) including an overnight hospital stay, a large mass in her chest was detected.

After a visit to oncology with Daisy, this mass was identified as T Cell Lymphoma. The mass is unfortunately wrapped around her vena cava and is therefore inoperable.

Daisy’s prognosis is improved if she undergoes at least one round of chemo therapy. In true Boulder style, the Walls are also going to be taking her to a holistic vet in Conifer to start an integrative approach to Daisy’s treatment. The combination of the two approaches has anecdotally shown great promise, especially in young pups.

The family is prepared to do anything for their sweet Daisy girl to help her in this battle but they have met their quota financially in this journey. They are asking for any help in funding her treatments, which will likely exceed $15-$20,000 to give Daisy a shot at healing her cancer.
