Donations for Cece

After spending the past few weeks investigating the cause of my niece Cecilia's recurrent headaches and vomiting, she underwent an MRI last Thursday morning at Children's Dallas Hospital.

The scans showed a large mass that was suspected to be a malignant brain tumor roughly the size of a lemon.

Further imaging was conducted that evening, and surgery was scheduled for Monday morning.

The surgical goal was to safely remove as much of the tumor as possible, leaving only what could be effectively managed through a chemo/radiation treatment plan.

Her neurosurgeon is very pleased with the surgical outcome and anticipates final pathology results within the next week. Once these results are available, a treatment plan will be made.

Cece is currently in recovery at Children's Dallas.
