Funeral Funds for Juana Soriano de Perdomo

Hello everyone,

 

My name is Joeli Nivar. I am the organizer of this fundraiser and Juana Esperanza Soriano de Perdomo's daughter in law.  Juana Esperanza Soriano De Perdomo was an angel on earth. Her smile and enthusiastic energy would engulf every room she walked in. Her warmth could be felt even on the coldest days. She was caring, compassionate, sweet, and the best mother and grandmother anyone could ask for.

 

With our most profound sorrow, we share that our Juana was taken from us on April 4th, 2022. Juana was so happy with the recent birth of her third grandson and the news that her youngest son would be having his first child in September. What should have been one of the happiest times of her life has been overshadowed by this senseless act of violence. We have to live knowing that we will never get those warm hugs and hear her contagious laugh again, all this while dealing with the fact that her life was abruptly taken in such a violent way.

 

Many of you have generously asked how you can help Juana's family during these unfortunate and devastating times; This Gofundme account was created as the best avenue for you to do so. Juana leaves behind her two son's, Victor and Erick Perdomo, who will be burying Juana in the Dominican Republic next to her husband, who passed away a year ago. This Gofundme's purpose is to assist Victor, Erick, and their families with the travel costs from the United States to the Dominican Republic as well with the funeral and burial costs in the Dominican Republic. The money will be used to book flights on their behalf for themselves and their families, and it will be administered directly to them by me,  Joeli Nivar, Victor Perdomo's fiance to cover the costs once abroad.

We greatly appreciate any support you can give and any prayers for our family and for justice to be served. Juana was, and will continue to be, immensely loved, and she will not be forgotten.

Mi nombre es Joeli Nivar. Soy la organizadora de esta recaudación de fondos y la nuera de Juana Esperanza Soriano de Perdomo. Juana Esperanza Soriano De Perdomo fue un ángel en la tierra. Su sonrisa y su energía entusiasta envolvían cada habitación en la que caminaba. Su calidez se podía sentir incluso en los días más fríos. Era cariñosa, compasiva, dulce y la mejor madre y abuela que cualquiera podría desear.

Con nuestro más profundo dolor, compartimos que nuestra Juana se nos fue arrebatada el 4 de Abril del 2022. Juana estaba muy feliz con el reciente nacimiento de su tercer nieto y la noticia de que su hijo menor tendría su primer bebé en septiembre. Lo que debería haber sido uno de los momentos más felices de su vida se ha visto ensombrecido por este acto de violencia sin sentido. Tenemos que vivir sabiendo que nunca volveremos a recibir esos cálidos abrazos y escuchar su risa contagiosa, todo esto mientras lidiamos con el hecho de que su vida fue abruptamente arrebatada de una manera tan violenta.

Muchos de ustedes han preguntado generosamente cómo pueden ayudar a la familia de Juana durante estos tiempos desafortunados y devastadores; Esta cuenta de Gofundme se creó como la mejor vía para hacerlo. Juana deja atrás a sus dos hijos, Víctor y Erick Perdomo, quienes estarán sepultando a Juana en República Dominicana junto a su esposo, quien falleció hace un año. El propósito de este Gofundme es ayudar a Víctor, Erick y sus familias con los costos de viaje de los Estados Unidos a la República Dominicana, así como con los costos del funeral y entierro en la República Dominicana. El dinero se utilizará para reservar vuelos en su nombre para ellos y sus familias, y será administrado directamente por mí, Joeli Nivar, la prometida de Victor Perdomo para cubrir los costos una vez en el extranjero.
