On June 12th, my mother suffered from cardiac arrest.

She was placed on life support, in hopes that she might recover.

I laid by her bedside in ICU as her health rapidly started to decline.

My mother never made it to recovery; her heart gave out after a good fight.

She lost both of her parents and her youngest daughter, which took a big toll on her life. She was independent, brave, kind, strong, and incredibly selfless.

She helped everyone and loved everyone.

She was a daughter, sister, friend, grandmother, and the BEST mom I could ever ask for. The glue to our little family and the only family my daughter and I had left.

She was my best friend.

This unimaginable loss has left a profound void in our lives.
