It breaks my heart to let you know that our dear friends Jimmy and Kate Sheehan have lost their son Jack Sheehan.

Jack was an amazing 19-year-old. After being diagnosed with mononucleosis, he ended up with a rare virus that shut down his brain function. No parent should ever have to experience what Kate and Jimmy have gone through.

Jack was the older brother to Ryan and Erin. The family now has huge medical costs, funeral costs and loss of wages while being at their son's bedside.

Jimmy grew up in Elmont and with Kate has raised his beautiful family in Wantagh. If you can find it in your heart to help the Sheehan family it would be greatly appreciated. Prayers for strength in all of the days ahead are asked for as well.
