Donation in Memory Of Francesco Figlia

Thank you for your contributions to the memory of the gentle soul Francesco Figlia, who succumbed to the disease of addiction on July 15,2020. This campaign has now ended from receiving further donations. Francesco leaves behind two loving parents, Rosa and Santo Figlia and two siblings, Josephine and Angela Figlia. He also leaves behind many family members and friends who will forever remember his genuine heart and passion for anything he believed in. His voice was loud, his smile infectious and no matter who you were he wanted to know you and love you. He loved his family with all his heart as well as being out in nature. It is the Family’s wishes to not have a funeral or viewing for Francesco as they have decided to make it an intimate celebration of his life. He will be put to rest in the place of his birth, Sicily. In place of flowers, food donation or sympathy cards please join us in raising money for the very organization that helped to fight the battle against addiction and the destruction which causes so much mental, physical and spiritual pain. The Lehigh Valley Conference of Churches worked with Francesco and showed him so much kindness and compassion. With so many families and individuals suffering from this powerful illness, it is the Figlia family’s wishes to support this organization which was a crucial part of Francesco’s battle with mental health and addiction, a battle which ultimately took his life.
