In Loving Memory of Edward “Ted” McGrath

A beloved father, a gentle soul, and a man who gave his whole heart to his family.

Today, our hearts are shattered as we share the sudden and heartbreaking loss of our dad, Edward McGrath—affectionately known as “Ted.” In the early hours of July 16th, at 5am, surrounded by the love of his four children, he peacefully took his last breath.

Ted was more than just a father. He was our rock, our protector, and our safe place. He was always there with open arms, a listening ear, and words of encouragement when we needed them most. His love was quiet but unwavering, and it filled every room he walked into.

Losing him so suddenly has left us all reeling. We didn’t get the chance to prepare for this, and now we find ourselves trying to navigate the unimaginable while grieving the man who meant everything to us.

We’re humbly reaching out to our friends, family, and anyone who feels moved to help. We want to give our dad the farewell he deserves—a peaceful, beautiful goodbye that reflects the love he gave so freely in life. Any donation, big or small, will help us cover funeral expenses during this incredibly difficult time.
