Friends and family, it is with great regret and heavy hearts that we must inform you that Gerald's mother passed away on October 18, 2022. Gerald is currently fighting for his life in a coma and is unaware of his mother's recent passing. Please donate anything you can to assist with her funeral, as he is her only means of support. We appreciate your generosity and wish you many blessings. Thank you so much for your help.

Gerald Fortere (DG- G-MIXX) this is for you, our friend, our brother, our father, OUR FAMILY.

Gerald Fortere, to those who know him best, is a man full of life. At 49 years of age, he is often dangerously mistaken for 10 years his junior. Tragically, on June 6, 2022, he was involved in a terrible car accident, where someone ran into him at high speed (T-bone), causing multiple injuries which have unfortunately left him in a state of a coma. The individual at fault, while in custody, has no idea the ripple effect this tragedy has caused.

DJ G-mixx, is a master at his skill, born from a line of artists and musicians, and one of the many children of Internationally known VOODOU artist WAWA et Azor. Gerald loves music, feels music, lives music. And he put that love, feeling and life into perfecting the ART of DJ-ING. His dedication to his craft is evident in every way, so much so, that the night of the tragic accident, he was returning home from a gig.

Gerald is the father of 2 children, with one on the way. He is the only miracle son of his now ailing mother, who is in her 90’s and is currently experiencing the early stages of dementia. Gerald is her sole provider. She is currently living in Haiti, and due to the state of the country, can't receive the proper care she needs. She has taken a rapid decline and has no idea her one son is in a coma and has been for months. She asks for him often and is starting to question if something has happened. Which may be contributing to her recent decline.

Family and friends, we are asking for help to be prepared for the worst of this tragic story if it were to arrive. If anyone can help, please give what you can.
