Hi everyone,

My name is Ashley, and I’m creating this GoFundMe for my dear friend and former coworker, Kristy Staples. I had the honor of working with Kristy for years at Hermitage Care Nursing Home, where she was always the one to bring a smile to everyone’s face — patients and coworkers alike.

After bravely fighting cancer, Kristy was in remission for five years. Sadly, the cancer has returned, this time in her lungs. Kristy is now facing another long and difficult battle, with treatments, medications, and medical expenses piling up quickly.

My goal is to raise money to help Kristy with her medical costs, travel expenses for treatment, and any other needs that come up during this time. She has spent so many years caring for others — now it’s our turn to care for her.
