Hi, my name is Moe and I have been friends with Jim for 5 years now. Jim has always been an amazing person to speak with and discuss anything automotive-related and has a plethora of knowledge and ideas on how the little things can be done to make a difference. He is very detail-oriented and every part of his build has shown that. He could have finished this build with eBay parts a long time ago with his given budget but he chose to do it once and do it right. He always said, "I won't have the time to do it once more, I can't, I won't be here to fix it. It has to go right."
Even with his medical condition, he has worked day and night and you can see the videos of him working on his car on his youtube channel. He started the channel as a way to show people what he has accomplished and wants it to be his legacy for people to enjoy watching him do what he loved the most.
There is only so much a small group can do to help but we have hope in the power of the internet and the community of automotive enthusiasts that know the feeling and have always been supportive of each other. I, personally can't thank each one of you for clicking this link and landing on this page. Anything you help with will go towards the cost of his build and anything over goes towards the increasing cost of his medical bills that just came in crushing his dream even more.
Please do share this with your fellow enthusiasts and help us help him. Some people defy their diagnosis with HOPE and I along with others am praying that this does just that for him.
Thank you!
