Support Indigenous People (Aeta) in Sitio Haduan

I'm Jelly and I'm fundraising for Indigenous People (Aeta). My Team & Project Kaluguran is a dedicated initiative committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of families and children in Sitio Haduan. By donating you will be helping to provide essential school supplies to children and nutritious food to families.

The Aeta are indigenous peoples of the Philippines and traditionally nomadic hunter-gatherers with a deep connection to the land and they are often isolated, living in geographically remote areas with limited access to resources and services. They are also disproportionately impoverished, lacking the financial means for basic necessities and educational materials. They require educational support due to systemic issues: mainstream education often ignores their culture and language, creating a disconnect and hindering learning. Socio-economic barriers, including poverty, force children to prioritize work over school.

To address some of these challenges, Project Kaluguran was created with the aim of lessening the burden on students in Sitio Haduan. The initiative provides student allowances to help ease the financial strain on families, enabling students to focus on their education and pursue their dreams. This support helps ensure that despite the geographical limitations, young individuals can continue to strive for a brighter future.

This project will empower and inspire young minds—encouraging them to dream big and believe in their potential, no matter how distant their aspirations may seem. Through our efforts, we strive to foster a sense of hope and determination, proving that with the right support, any goal is within reach.
