Help a Local Honors Student Achieve Her Dream of Attending the University of Miami!

Hi, I’m Alyssa Morales, a 17-year-old honors student living right here in beautiful Miami. I was recently accepted to the University of Miami, and I’m beyond excited — and also slightly panicking about the cost of tuition. I never thought I’d be here, but here I am, trying to figure out how to turn my dream into reality without turning my family’s financial situation upside down.

I’ve worked hard to get to this point, maintaining a 5.324 GPA while juggling my studies with a big family, a lot of responsibilities, and of course, a bit of Netflix. Despite the challenges, I’ve always stayed focused and committed to my education. But now, as I get closer to this amazing opportunity at the University of Miami, I find myself needing a little extra help to cover the tuition and other college expenses.

In case you’re wondering, yes, I do tutor others to earn some extra cash (mainly because I love to help people understand math — it’s my thing). But let’s face it, tutoring can only cover so much. That's where you come in!

One of my biggest dreams is to help others. Whether it’s tutoring, mentoring, or simply offering a listening ear, I’ve always felt a deep sense of fulfillment when I’m able to make someone else’s journey a little easier. At the University of Miami, I hope to continue this mission by studying physics (to answer the unanswered questions of the universe) and medicine (to save those who need to be saved), where I can not only grow personally but also contribute to my community in meaningful ways.
