ISKCON Schweiz- Harinam 2023

In 1486 Krishna appeared in Bengal as Shri Caitanya Mahaprabhu with His companions. His appearance as a divine incarnation (avatar) had already been foretold in the Vedas. He founded the Krishna consciousness movement in India and revealed the process of God-realization in Kali-yuga: "chanting the holy names of God."

Even today, devotees of Krishna all over the world go on the streets every day and carry out this service. One of the goals of the Krishna consciousness movement is to impart spiritual knowledge to the society based on the Vedic scriptures. This is to bring about unity and peace in the world.
