Donation for 25 year old fighting cancer.

Ivan Lerma is a 25-year-old, recently graduated as an Aerospace Engineer. He has so many desires to and hopes to develop his potential. Ivan loves to watch and play baseball. Within the last six months, Ivan's life has changed with a sudden and totally unexpected cancer diagnosis (femoral osteosarcoma). His treatment started with various studies in December (MRI, CAT, USG, Biopsy), then he began chemo in January through April, unfortunately, the applied chemo did not work as expected and the cancer metastasized to the lungs, this situation changed the plan. In May, leg amputation surgery had to be performed and he will start a second line chemo in June to prepare for lung surgeries (maybe in July). Fortunately, he is a young person and can beat this cancer with today's medicine and with our help.

 

While Ivan prepares for his treatment, he tries his best to manage his pain, his family and friends have stepped up to help him drive to appointments, pick up meals, and take care of his dog, Baxter. But on top of everything else, we all know this process comes with a huge financial burden, Ivan has already quit his job due to his actual health condition.

 

While Ivan fights the cancer and the pain, we're asking that you join us in contributing financially to help him fight the medical bills.

• First Surgery - Leg amputation ($4,000 USD)

• Second Line Chemo (estimated $12,000)

• First Lung Surgery (estimated $10,000)
