Donating to recoup the loss at Pine Island.

In the aftermath of hurricane Ian's landfall touch. Many people have lost homes, possessions, businesses, and peaceful memories over night. While some have managed to get though untouched or slightly inconvenienced... Not everyone was so lucky. While my family only delt with rain and wind here in Altamonte Springs, my father Todd and his wife Brandy who resides on Pine Island have been told that their camper and belongings did not make it. His boat seems fine but it's all hard to tell when you can't enter the island. This is a hard working man who's lived a long life and worked hard for all he has with his own hands. He sold everything to come to Florida again after raising kids to start his dream and become a boat Captain, and he did exactly that. But this storm seems to have taken all that hard work and destroyed it all in a single night. Personally I know it's serious when a man who doesn't ask others for help says he needs a GoFundMe to rebuild. No photos are available yet until the causeway is repaired and they are able to access the island. Electricity, internet, and water are also down in the area so as I receive any updates I'll add them.
