Hi, this is a fundraising for everyone’s favorite person, Doug Christian. Doug has faced many challenges since he was 21 years old, being paralyzed and living alone. Doug lives for Fred, "Famous Fred," his dog, and four-wheeling with his friends. Although he is in a wheelchair, he and his friends have found a way to keep Doug doing what he loves. On April 22nd, Doug was in bad shape, so he went to his physician to seek help. He was given Zpack and sent home. A few days later found unresponsive and taken to KDMC, where he was diagnosed with diabetes, Covid and Necrotizing Fasciitis, a flesh-eating disease. He was then sent to the University of Kentucky for surgery. At this time, Doug is on his fifth surgery to remove the diseased flesh. Doug remains in ICU on breathing and feeding tubes. No one can visit him, and we get little info from the hospital. Doug’s life has changed with this disease. He will have a lot of medical bills that need to be paid and assistance when he comes home.
