We are Dora's Aunties, and we have set up the following page on behalf of Dora's incredible Mummy.
Dora's mummy is a superhero and is finding it so hard to ask for help, even though many of you have already offered.
We feel Dora brings so much light into our lives, Emma has opened up her family over the years and we have all come to love this A-Dora-Bull Staffy.
Unfortunately, on Saturday 26th August Dora became very ill, and after an emergency trip to the Vets it was discovered she had accidently swallowed a small rock. It blocked her intestines, making her very poorly! The operation went well, two sections of intestines were bruised quite badly, one returned to colour but the other didn’t and was removed.
We were hopeful she was on the mend, but as the week went on we saw little improvement, with continued sickness and body tremors. It is heartbreaking to see our beloved Dora in this way!
As you will have seen today, Dora has been taken to the Royal Veterinary College in London and is now being treated for Sepsis. We are hopeful she is finally getting the treatment to get her back on her paws and her tail waggling!
We have set up the following page, as we know, like us, so many of you would love to show your support to Emma and Teddy and bring our girl home!
As you can imagine these emergency vets bills have been crippling, and although Dora is insured the costs have been racking up.
We know times are hard right now, but would be so grateful for any donations!
Thank you so much for all your love and support, we know it has been a great comfort to Emma.
