On September 7, 2015 Heather & Gonzo woke up at 3am to their daughter Arianna having a seizure. When she arrived at St. Catherine's hospital in Wisconsin, her fever had increased to 107. At that time Arianna was taken by Flight for Life to Children's Hospital of Milwaukee.
She is currently on life support fighting for her life. I will share daily (with her parents’ permission) the current update on Arianna. At this time, it is believed that little Arianna has contracted Meningitis.
Arianna is the ONLY child of Heather & Gonzo Cortez. She was born on December 4, 2014. She was diagnosed with a very rare genetic syndrome called 2q37 Deletion Syndrome. At this time, only about 100 people have been diagnosed worldwide.
