My name is Dr. Sam Sheikali, an emergency physician from the U.S.
During my time volunteering in Lebanese hospitals, I saw doctors forced to treat critical trauma patients without ultrasounds — a tool that can detect internal bleeding or cardiac activity within seconds. Without it, every decision becomes a guess in a race against time.
Today, the people of South Lebanon are facing escalating Israeli attacks and ceasefire violations. Their hospitals are overwhelmed, supplies are scarce, and many have no access to even the most basic diagnostic tools.
That’s why I’m raising $25,000 to provide:
• Pocket ultrasound devices for emergency departments and field hospitals
• Essential trauma and wound-care supplies
• Hands-on training so these devices can keep saving lives long after I leave
These ultrasounds are small enough to fit in a pocket — but powerful enough to save countless lives in low-resource, high-volume trauma settings.
I’ll personally deliver and teach the use of every device.
100% of your donation goes directly toward medical supplies — all travel and administrative costs come out of my own pocket.
Even one donation can mean a hospital gains the ability to see inside a patient in seconds — to find bleeding, to guide a procedure, to save a life.
Please consider donating today and sharing this campaign with your friends, family, and communities. Together, we can give frontline doctors in South Lebanon the tools they need to keep their patients alive.
Your support doesn’t just send equipment — it sends hope, solidarity, and the reminder that the world has not forgotten them.
Thank you for standing with South Lebanon.
