Jakes Prosthetic an Life after Motorcycle Accident

Hello my name is jacob or "jake" dusharme, i am a 20 year old who has a big passion for cars, trucks, motorcycles, skateboarding, and lived a very physically demanding and active lifestyle. Just this last year I have had some very life changing and traumatic experiences and im not sure what else to do than to hope to god for some positive changes or improvements, and help thru my road to recovery process. I have been unemployed and denied for disability/unemployment for the past year and a half due to random seizures that the doctors have not been able to explain. I lost my legal ability to work/drive, I lost my job, I lost my place to live, I lost my relationship with my mother, and I've been living at my friends house for the past year. My parents have been little to no help with me thru this.

To make things even worse, I recently have lost my leg in a motorcycle accident 2 months ago. On a test drive after tuning up my bike for the past hour, a next door neighbor attempted to stop me by jumping out in the middle of the road and forcing me into the forest to crash. Which resulted in eventually the amputation of my left leg.

For the past 2 months I have been bed ridden and have been struggling to find hope. I have just been informed that my insurance is going to stop covering physical therapy, surgeon appointments, and pain management within the next month. I feel very limited with resources on what to do and i am typically one to always work for what i have but i physically or legally cannot do that for the time being.

I am seeking out to GoFundMe in hopes of being able to afford my expenses for my recent hardship, physical therapy, rides to my appointments, and basic day to day life. I'm hoping to be able to afford a prosthetic that can fit my lifestyle and eventually be able to get me back to a life doing what I love.
