Hi! My name is Zoë. I’m a senior at UNCG and I work part-time. For the last four months, I have been living in my car. Although it has been challenging, it was a conscious decision made due to the fear that I experienced in the second half of this year that has impacted me greatly.

I have made the most of it, even at times found joy in it, but I am BEYOND delighted to announce that I have finally found a studio apartment that I can afford. This caught me by surprise, as I thought that I would be living in my car for the remainder of the school year.

I am hoping to find some support in covering the deposit and first months’ rent, as well as fill up my fridge and pantry so that these up-front costs don’t cripple me in the long-run. If the fundraiser does well, I will also get some household essentials for storage and cleaning!

I don’t expect to collect the full amount, but any little bit helps during this transition!
