Hi everyone. I'm raising funds to offset immediate and long-term costs associated with the impact of the Eaton fire. We were evacuated from our home in Altadena on Tuesday, January 7 and the cost of food, shelter, gas, and purchasing essentials to continue running our businesses is so much higher than we anticipated. We're learning now that even though we are fortunate to have a home that is still standing, our home won't be inhabitable until after FEMA clears debris from the area, utilities can be repaired and reconnected, and toxins from the smoke, soot and ash are professionally removed. We are extremely lucky to have safe and comfortable short term housing (thank you forever, Leslie!) but need to start making a plan for where we can live for the next year (or more). People always say this but I'm finding just how true it is: every little bit is so incredibly helpful. Thank you for your beautiful, generous spirit and for how powerfully you have chosen to build community.
