Hello, my name is Zachary Mercier, and I am reaching out for help.

On July 1, 2023, at the age of 18, I was in a harrowing motorcycle crash that left me paralyzed from the waist down.

This crash completely destroyed my body and with it, my ability to lead the kind of life I should have at 19 years old. It is threatening to destroy me financially as well.

Since the crash, I have had two major spinal cord surgeries, a suprapubic catheter surgery, and two major surgeries on my femur, which is currently held together with five screws. The nerves in my back will never be the same, and I will never be able to use the bathroom without a catheter again.

I urgently need help to pay for my ongoing treatment so I can not only maintain my new normal, but so that I can continue to get much-needed treatment for my medical issues, including my shattered tailbone that has not yet been repaired.
