Hi everyone,
My name is Zachary Webb, and I recently underwent a stem cell transplant as part of my treatment for Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). The procedure took place in Charlottesville, Virginia, and while I’m incredibly thankful to have made it this far, I still have a long road ahead.
Right now, I’m in the crucial post-transplant recovery period, which requires me to stay close to the hospital for frequent checkups and monitoring over the next three months.
For my mental and physical health, staying in a calm, home-like Airbnb is the best option. A hotel wouldn’t be ideal for long-term recovery and would make the process even more stressful.
I’m reaching out to ask for your support—whether that’s through a donation or simply sharing this page.
In addition to housing costs, each doctor’s visit comes with a $50 copay, and with frequent appointments, these costs are adding up quickly. The $15,000 goal will help cover housing, medical copays, transportation, and other essential expenses during this recovery phase.
Your support will help ease the financial burden and allow me to focus fully on healing.
If you’re able to give, thank you from the bottom of my heart. And if you can’t donate right now, sharing this page helps more than you know.
Every bit of support makes a real difference—and brings me one step closer to recovery.
With deep gratitude,
Zachary Webb
