My name is Z(22). I am currently living with my mother, my disabled sister, & my cousins A(22) & B who are siblings.

My cousins and I are being forced out of our current living situation. We have been fortunate enough to find a place to live, however, we will barely be making rent. We are asking for help with rent and basic living expenses (pots, pans, toiletries, etc.).

A & B are living with us because of familial abuse, my mother currently has guardianship of B (she is a minor).

On April 12, 2025 my mother told me her plans to buy a house and move by the end of summer, she said my cousins & I need to “figure it out”.

She waited until May 14, 2025 to tell A about her plans (I had already discussed it so we could start looking for places). My mother told A she was planning to be moved by July 2025.

None of this was previously discussed, she had given no impression of urgency for my cousins moving out, much less myself.

An apartment called us today May 28, 2025 to let us know we’ve been approved, we start the move on May 30, 2025.

We are trying to make the most of the situation, we’re excited to be on our own and live together as we are super close due to our… trauma bonds:P lol… however…

We need EVERYTHING; pots, pans, cups, plates, silverware, dish & laundry soap, broom, mop, Windex, tissue & toilet paper, basic tools (hammer, wrench, etc.)

We’re so embarrassed to ask but desperate times come for desperate measures, so we are here, humbly asking.
